I can pee in the potty. I have been peeing in the potty for a long time. I don't remember a time when I didn't know how to pee in the potty. Now, I get to teach another human being how to pee in the potty and suddenly I don't know what the heck I am doing.
My son is fascinated with the potty. Randomly he announces that he wants to pee in the potty and I fall for it. So far, it has happened for him once, by accident, at daycare when they convinced him to stay on the toilet just a moment more. He was so excited that his first words were, "Tell Mommy".
I am armed with a potty seat for the toilet (one in the car and one at home) and a small potty chair that he loves to drag around the house (gross). His new thing this week is to grab the toilet roll and put "towels" in the potty as he pretends to wipe himself.
So, I am jumping into this new adventure with no idea what I am doing. I do have Elmo stickers at the ready for when he has more successes (thank goodness that have plenty at the Dollar Store!) But, I do have an issue.
When I pee, I sit. That's how girls do it. My son has to learn how to master this standing up eventually. So here's a warning to all of the males in my life. I may be asking you shortly if my son can watch you pee standing up. I know, awkward.
